About our Presenter Angel Zuniga Martinez is a fifth-generation Tejano and creative marketing strategist with 30 years of experience across sales, nonprofit development, and brand storytelling. He currently serves as Director of Mission Advancement & Strategic Partnerships at Rise Recovery, where he leads efforts to build visibility, partnerships, and impact for youth and families facing addiction. A co-founder of PR Story Studios and former marketing leader at Vilore Foods, Angel has helped shape brand narratives that connect with culture, community, and conscience. But in 2024, his most personal brand was born—PuroMartinez®️, a wellness initiative rooted in ancestral healing and inspired by his own health awakening. Battling high blood pressure, prediabetes, and burnout, Angel sought renewal under the stars of Terlingua, Tejas. There, he reconnected with his faith, family, and the folk remedies passed down from his great-great-grandfather Antonio—reviving a legacy of Latino resilience and holistic health.
